Featuring the artwork of Batsell Moore Through his extensive training and experience Mr. Moore’s paintings portray exceptional expression in a broad spectrum of subject matter, such as Westerns, Indians, Americana, Murals, Corporate/Scenery, California Colonial Spanish, Boats, Seascapes, Historical, and S.W. Canyons. He accomplished his unusual versatility working in a wide range of media. Mr. Moore has been commissioned to paint many well-known and historical places in middle Tennessee, such as the Ryman Auditorium, better known as the “Grand Old Opry.” A partial list of owners of Mr. Moore’s work includes, Paul Harvey, Pat Boone, Johnny Cash, Bank of America–San Diego, and Union Bank–San Diego. The paintings below show examples of Batsell Moore’s paintings which would enhance any home. His attention to detail and his soothing subject matter are enhanced by his use of vibrant color. Gaclee Prints, on canvas, are available, numbered and signed. Biography of Batsell Moore Batsell was born in central Texas where he gained his love of the great outdoors. This love is openly expressed in his master paintings of man and nature. Mr. Moore has lived and worked in four regions of the country -- most of which has been in the Southwest. Most of his works reflect these regions. Batsell has studied under such well-known artists and teachers as Will Kendrick, Waco, Texas; Federick Myzon, Baylor University; Miron Cook, Watkins Institute, Nashville; and Jack Jordan, San Diego, California. One-man shows of his work have been held at such galleries as (1) the Parthenon & Genesco World Headquarters, Nashville; (2) Montcrest, Chattanooga; and (3) East County Performing Arts Center, El Cajon, California, as well as other shows throughout Tennessee, Texas, and Southern California.
